Noa Shiragiku (白菊 乃愛, Shiragiku Noa?) is a second-year student at Kazemai High School and a member of the kyudo club.
Appearance[]
Noa is mentioned to have long black hair in a hime cut.
Personality[]
She is one of the female characters in this anime who has a serious nature. Primarily when it comes to archery, she sometimes scolds the boys when they do goofy. She's also the type who doesn't like to share her pain with others. It was proven that before the competition, she was sick but she kept it a secret because she didn't want her friends to worry about her. Evidently she was also very amazed by the pull of arrows and the voice of Tsurune from Narumiya Minato, to the point of making her eyes water and her cheeks flushed.
History[]
Noa grew up in a traditional Japanese household, and shows an interest in Japanese calligraphy and art.
Story[]
Kyudo Club Practice[]
Noa is one of the members summoned by Tomio Morioka, who tells them that she wants to participate in the Prefectural Tournament. Noa and Yuuna Hanazawa answer him on behalf of Rika Seo, the leader of the girls, who is too surprised to respond. Noa says that even though she has experience, she has never been in a competition before. Nanao Kisaragi interjects that they should do it and that he will be motivated if she is with a cute girl. Noa coldly tells him to be quiet and to be considerate of Rika Seo's feelings, causing him to fall silent. Tomio tells that she thinks that they all shoot well and that they could participate in individual competitions, as they are not enough people for team competitions. The three girls confer, then Rika relays their agreement. [1]
Shooting Technique and Ability[]
Nao has an elegant way of shooting the bow. Like the rest of the girls team, she starts with veteran experience.
Relationships[]
Yuuna Hanazawa and Rika Seo[]
She as a deep bond with both her teammates. She and Yuuna proclaim great respect for her leader Rika.
Minato Narumiya[]
It is not known whether she had special feelings for Narumiya Minato or simply admiration. To be sure, Minato is a figure that is important to her along with her other friends.
Etymology[]
- The name Noa means "from" (乃) (no) and "love, affection" (愛) (a).
- Noa's surname Shiragiku means "white" (白) (shira) and "chrysanthemum" (菊) (kiku/giku).
