The Columbia Museum of Art will host the exhibition "French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850 – 1950," featuring over 50 works from renowned French artists, from October 5, 2024, to January 5, 2025, showcasing key movements like Impressionism and Cubism, alongside special events including a music performance and a lecture by curator Lisa Small. George Bernard Shaw's comedy Arms & the Man will be staged outdoors in Tryon, October 3-6. The Seventeenth Annual Art in Autumn Festival celebrated local talent with author Clint Parker signing his book, "DATELINE: Small-Town, USA," reflecting on Weaverville's history.
