The Flower Challenge #61 Use a Shape and 5th Birthday
Woo hoo we are celebrating our 5th birthday this month!
Welcome to The Flower Challenge! This is the challenge that celebrates cards using floral images. Our challenge for October is ... 'Use a Shape'
It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge. Of course most of all have fun!
As you have already noticed by now, we are happy to announce it's our 5th Birthday too! wow the time has gone so quickly. We hope all you PETALS have enjoyed taking part in all of our FLOWER challenges over the last 5 years. We have certainly loved seeing all your glorious floral cards in our gallery!
Anyway to celebrate we are giving away not one but 11 PRIZES this month. The prizes are all listed below, they will be allocated at random to our chosen prize winners. A very big thank you goes out to all our kind sponsors (some who have sponsored us a few times already over the years) and also some of the DT are generously giving away prizes also.
Please can I ask that you leave your country after your name below your card when entering so the DT who are giving their own prizes to countries they live in (due to postage) can allocate prizes more easily. Example (Viv UK), thank you ;)
Happy to say that all the companies jumped at the chance to sponsor us the minute they were asked. Isn't that so lovely of them, esp. considering the terrible time they have all had with Covid etc. recently.
Do try and visit them all as they make/sell such fabulous craft goodies too ;)
We hope to see you taking part and look forward to seeing all your fabulous cards in our gallery.
Just like to say another big THANK YOU to our amazing Design Team who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes and made so many gorgeous cards over the last 5 years. I think all the girls, both older (in years on the team not age lol) and newer DT have really inspired you all each month. So a really big THANK YOU goes out to them all ;) xx
Here's to another amazing 5 years and more !!
All the DT will help pick our winners this time as we always do. Our showcase will be announced in the usual manner, the day before the next challenge. Please remember to claim your prize within 7 days, so check back to see who our winners are on the 3th of November and how to claim.

The Flower Challenge Winner and Picks for the Month of September 2021
Now comes the hardest part of the Challenge.
We decided we didn't want to use the Random Picker as it was felt
that cards should be chosen for a number of reasons not
'luck of the draw'.
'luck of the draw'.
When we look at the cards entered we are each drawn to different styles,
techniques and designs. So all the design team have input, each has been
asked to pick out three cards that stand out to them and why.
