Gardner Arts Centre, University of Sussex
The Gardner Arts Centre was opened in 1969 and is Brighton’s only arts centre. It is owned by the University of Sussex and has a fan shaped auditorium with a capacity of 482 people. The stage is a proscenium with a forstage and does have limited flying with 9 hemp sets.
Situated on the A27, four miles from the centre of both Brighton and Lewes, the Gardner Arts centre enjoys the beautiful surroundings of Stanmer Park.
