Celez was a patient who was in an accident, resulting in both second and third-degree burns located throughout her body. Her doctor, Jared Kalu, managed to get her into a trial where they use fish skins to help reduce the burns. Months later, the results were clearly visible as the burns were virtually gone. Jared realizes he has feelings for her and they begin dating.

Season 1[]
Celez first appears in the episode Not Fake with second and third degree burns from the bus crash. Jared tries to peel of the burned skin to no avail, after which Celez instructs him to try and find a new treatment plan. Jared receives tilapia skin from San Diego Community Hospital in exchange for patient data. Jared puts on the tilapia skin and sends her home.
After 5 months, Celez returns to St. Bonaventure to get the fish removed. The result was phenomenal, and her skin was almost unscathed. Jared and Celez are on much better terms at this point. Due to hospital policy stating that doctors cannot date their patients, Jared asks Shaun to take over her treatment. They subsequently go out on a date.
Season 6[]
Although not mentioned, Celez and Jared's relationship fell apart at some point over the years following Jared's departure as he's single again when Jared returns to St. Bonaventure.
