I’m Jake Boly, the Founder of That Fit Friend. This is the corner of the internet where I get to share my love for training, performance footwear, and apparel.

On my site, you’ll find reviews covering gym shoes, barefoot shoes, weightlifting shoes, apparel, and since I’ve been a strength coach for 12 years, I publish training content here and there when a movement or training program has caught my interest.

I buy the products that I review, and every review follows a similar protocol to ensure quality. On top of this, I film videos for every review so you can SEE exactly what I’m doing when testing gear.

I’ve competed in four powerlifting competitions.
