Survivor 10: The Philippines is the third season of Survivor 10.

After 52 days, Shay Arel defeated Tom Altagar and Liora Goldberg in a 6-3-0 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Twists/Changes

• Expanded Cast: This season featured twenty-five contestants, five more than in previous seasons.
• Tribe Selection and Elimination: The castaways competed in a series of challenges during the first two days. In the first challenge on Day 1, the last three castaways to finish would then compete in an elimination challenge, where the loser would be eliminated and the two winners would become tribe captains. The 22 winners would compete in a second challenge based on endurance on Day 2, where they would be assigned to groups of 3 based on their performance and gender. Since the number of women remaining in the game was not divisible by 3, the top performer was the sole member of the top group. The top performers in the challenge were guaranteed to be assigned to a tribe. For the remaining six groups, the tribe captains would choose two of the three, with the third in each group being eliminated.
• Hidden Island: The Hidden Island allows castaways a chance to re-enter the game. The first seven castaways eliminated in the first two challenges and the following four castaways voted out would be sent to the Hidden Island. After someone was voted out of the main game and sent to the Hidden Island, the castaways would compete in a challenge. The loser of the challenge would be automatically nominated for elimination, and the winner would nominate one more person. The castaways would then vote between the two nominees to eliminate them permanently from the game. On Day 14, residents of the Hidden Island were told to designate the most social player in the group, who would re-enter the game automatically. The remaining residents would then compete in a two-stage challenge, the first eliminating two and the second eliminating one, with the three winners re-entering the game.
• Tribe Switch: Following the re-entry challenge, a Tribe Switch occurred, mixing the 18 castaways between two tribes of nine.
• Duels: Unlike last season where the duelists would be exiled, the duelists would simply return to their tribes after the conclusion of the duel.
• Hidden Immunity Idol: After the merge, the winner of each duel would receive one half of a Hidden Immunity Idol. By combining two halves of the idol, they would have a fully functional idol. All idol halves only last for two Tribal Councils.
• Double Elimination: On Day 45, the Mansaka tribe was subjected to a double elimination, where two castaways would be eliminated after two rounds of voting. Individual immunity and the Veto Bracelet would carry over both votes.
