Survivor, la isla de los famosos is the seventh season of Survivor (Colombia).

After 49 days, Juan del Mar defeated Camilo Pardo and Aco Pérez in a 4-3-0 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Twists/Changes

• Battle of the Sexes/Tribe Composition: At the start of the game, the castaways were divided into two tribes based on gender. At first, those tribes didn't have any color, flag, or buff. However, on Day 2, the castaways had to chose the weakest member of each of the gender-based tribes, these two selected members would form a mixed tribe: Koi; they would choose a man and a woman to join them, and two other members would be selected through a rock draw. Since it was decided that the all-women tribe would remain with eight members, all the remaining women formed the Amazonas tribe. Subsequently, another man joined the Koi tribe and the remaining men formed the Espartos tribe, leaving both tribes with seven members.
• Hidden Immunity Idol: A Hidden Immunity Idol was hidden at each camp, which would abide to the same standard rules from the American version. In addition, an extra idol was hidden on the ship used during the marooning, however, it was not found.
• Survivor Store: The tribes compete in some Reward Challenges to win a certain amount of coins, which are used to purchase items from the Survivor Store, such as creature comforts, food, supplies, or tools. The tribe leaders are responsible each cycle for making purchases in the store, where they may be offered some temptations, which are personal benefits such as food for oneself or even game advantages.
• Leadership Challenges: The members of each tribe compete against each other in a challenge, with the winner becoming the tribe leader of the cycle and gaining decision-making power, along with an individual reward. The leaders of each tribe meet occasionally to face dilemmas that can change the course of the game, having to make decisions before the hourglass runs out of time or else face dire consequences.
• "Do-It-Yourself" Challenges: Certain challenges would require the contestants to run the challenge themselves, with no host overseeing them.
• Tribe Switch: A tribe switch occurred on Day 11, shuffling the remaining fifteen castaways into three tribes of five.
• Replacements: Due to the high amount of evacuations and quits that took place this season, three new castaways entered the game on Day 15. The tribe leaders had the decision to choose which tribe each new castaway would join.
  • Returning Players: Two former contestants, Catherine Mira and Juan del Mar, returned as replacements for another chance to win.
