Australian Survivor: All Stars is the fifth season of the Network Ten incarnation of the competitive reality TV show Australian Survivor. In a change to previous installments, the contestants are returning contestants from the four previous seasons.

After 50 days, David Genat defeated Sharn Coombes in a jury vote of 8-1 to become the Sole Survivor. To date, All Stars has produced one returning player (Shonee Fairfax) for a future season.

Twists/Changes

• All-Stars: For the first time, a cast entirely of former castaways returned for another shot at the title of Sole Survivor.
• Rules regarding transferability of Advantages: Starting this season, if a player is voted out while in possession of any advantages or idols, they may hand said advantages to another player before their torch is snuffed.
• Hidden Immunity Idol
• Extra Vote
• Exile Beach:
  • On Day 13, the two people that received the most votes at Tribal Council would not be eliminated; instead, they would head to Exile Beach until the tribe switch.
  • On Days 34 and 36, the three people that received the most votes at Tribal Council would not be eliminated, but instead would be sent to Exile Beach. The six exiled contestants would compete in two challenges in order for three of them to return to the game. Finally, all of the contestants would vote off one of the three remaining exiled contestants on Day 38, allowing the two others to return to the game.
• Double Tribal Council: On Day 18, instead of a tribal Immunity Challenge, both tribes competed in an individual Immunity Challenge. At Tribal Council, both tribes voted out one member of their tribe. The two people who were voted out will compete in a fire-making challenge, with the loser being eliminated.
• Pandora's Urn: In episode 12, an advantage was introduced that allowed its holder to stop the votes from being read at either of the next two Tribal Councils, meaning that no one will be eliminated at that Tribal Council.
• Trial by Fire: On Day 44, if a contestant believed they were going to be voted out, they could accept an offer, subjecting them to a fire-making challenge against another castaway decided unanimously by the merged tribe (or by a rock draw, if the decision was not unanimous). The two people would then showdown in a fire-making challenge. If the initiator lost the challenge, they would be eliminated. If the initiator won the challenge, nobody would be eliminated.

Notes: ^1 A Hidden Immunity Idol was played, negating all votes against the user. ^2 A Hidden Immunity Idol was played; however, no votes were cast against its user. ^3 Locky and Phoebe used a Reward Ticket advantage that allowed two players from their tribe to join the opposite tribe on reward. ^4 Instead of being permanently eliminated from the game, the two castaways that received the most votes at Tribal Council (Shonee and Zach) were instead sent to Exile Beach. ^5 Instead of being permanently eliminated from the game, these two castaways competed in a fire-making challenge to determine who would be eliminated, with the other re-entering the game. Phoebe won the challenge, re-entering the game and eliminating Lydia. ^6 A tie occurred. Per Australian Survivor rules, a second vote was held where the castaways involved in the tie would not vote and the remaining castaways could only vote for those involved in the tie. ^7 As part of the reward, the winning tribe was told to pick two members of the losing tribe to join them. ^8 Instead of being permanently eliminated from the game, the three castaways that received the most votes at Tribal Council were instead sent to Exile Beach. ^9 The six castaways that were sent to Exile Beach competed in two challenges to re-enter the game. Brooke and Moana won the first challenge while Jacqui won the second. The three remaining castaways (AK, Shonee, and Zach) were subjected to a Tribal Council vote. Zach received the most votes, eliminating him, resulting in AK and Shonee re-entering the game. ^10 A deadlock tie occurred. Per Australian Survivor rules, AK, Brooke, David, Sharn, Shonee and Tarzan, had to reach a consensus who between Jacqui and Moana should be voted out; otherwise, Jacqui and Moana would be immune, and the non-tied non-immune castaways would be forced to draw rocks. The six elected to eliminate Jacqui. ^11 Before reading the votes, each of the six castaways were offered to nullify the vote and go into a "Trial of Fire" if they believed they were going to be voted out. AK accepted the offer, subjecting him to a fire-making challenge against another castaway decided unanimously by the remaining Kalo Kalo tribe. Moana was selected and defeated AK in the challenge, eliminating him.

Trivia

• This is the first season of Australian Survivor to include a cast of all returning players.
• This is the third season of Australian Survivor to feature a deadlocked vote, after Australian Survivor (2002) and Australian Survivor (2016).
  • However, this season was the second time a deadlocked vote resulted in a castaway being eliminated from the game, as in 2016 it happened in a mock Tribal Council with the people voted out switching tribes.
  • Both deadlocked votes in the Network Ten incarnation of Australian Survivor have been broken by a consensus decision.
• This is the first season of Australian Survivor to not feature a blue tribe.
