Prepare the application for use

After Kaspersky Endpoint Security is installed, you can do the following:

• Activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security. When the application is activated, Kaspersky Endpoint Security starts protecting your computer, you can regularly update application databases and modules, perform malware scan tasks, and send requests to Technical Support.

  The Managed Detection and Response component is activated separately in the Kaspersky Security Center Administration or Web Console.

  If the Endpoint Detection and Response component is not supported by your current license, you need to activate Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response separately.

• Assess the status of computer protection.
• Update Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
• Scan your computer for malware.
