You can collaborate on playlists with friends by inviting them to add videos to new or existing playlists on YouTube. Learn more about how to collaborate on playlists in YouTube Music.

Add collaborators
To get started, create a new playlist or find one youâve already made.
- Open your playlist.
- Select Share .
- Select Invite collaborators .
- Choose who youâd like to invite.
If your playlist isnât unlisted or public yet, youâll be asked to make it shareable before your invite is sent. You can add hundreds of people to your playlist and include thousands of videos or songs.
Turn off collaboration
- At the top of your playlist, select the profile photos of your collaborators.
- Turn on or off Collaborate.
When turned off, all collaborators will be removed from the playlist.
Leave a playlist
You can leave a playlist you were invited to but no longer wish to collaborate on.
- Open the playlist.
- Select Bookmark to remove it from your library.
Add & remove videos
If you accept an invite to collaborate on a playlist, you can add videos or remove videos that you added in the past.
Add videosTo add videos, find a video you want to add and select Save. You can also search for videos from the playlist.
- In the playlist, select Add .
- Search for the video you want to add.
- Select Save to playlist.
After you add a video, your profile picture will be shown on that video in the playlist.
Only you and the playlist owner can remove the content youâve added.
- Go to the playlist.
- Beside the video you want to remove, select more .
- Select Remove from playlist .
