Whatâs new in Google Wallet
Quick access to your itemsUse your phone or smartwatch to tap to pay in stores, board a plane, ride transit, attend an event, use your loyalty card at your favorite merchants, or start your car.
To add a new card or pass, tap the Add to Wallet on the home screen. On websites and apps with an âAdd to Google Walletâ or âAdd to Google Pay,â you can save items to Google Wallet as well.
To help you find and use passes, Google Wallet has a simple layout with larger text.
American Express only (US): For a full history of transactions and details, check your bank statements or go to the American Express app.
To review recent tap to pay transactions with Wallet:
- Tap on a payment card.
- At the top right, tap Transaction details .
You can switch Google Accounts, get tips for Google Wallet, access app settings and more. To access the menu, at the top right of the home screen, tap your Profile picture .
To reorder your debit and credit cards, swipe to your last card and tap Edit card order .To reorder passes, touch and hold and drag them up or down.

If you transfer over the Google Wallet app to a new phone, your cards and passes should transfer to your new phone, but you must:
Google Wallet is available in over 50 countries and regions. If your country or region is not listed, check back as Google Wallet will expand to new places soon.
Under rare circumstances, your cards may not be transferred from Google Pay to Google Wallet. To recover your cards and balance, try to add the cards again or restart the device. If the cards still don't display in Wallet, contact support.
