You can quickly find what youâre looking for on the Internet, in your bookmarks, and in your browsing history. A Chrome feature might not be available if your default search engine doesn't support it.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome .
- In the address bar at the top, enter what you want to search for.
- Tap a result or tap Go.
Above the keyboard or on a new page, tap Microphone .
You can find a specific word or phrase on a web page.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome .
- On the page, tap More Find in Page⦠.
- Enter your search term.
- Matching words are highlighted. The currently selected match is highlighted with a yellow background.
- When you find what you're searching for, tap Done.
You can search with your camera, a screenshot or an image in your gallery by using Google Lens in Chrome. With Google Lens, you can easily do things like identify plants or animals, find similar products, or translate text.
Before you start, set Google as your default search engine.
Search with an image on a page

On your iPhone, open Chrome .
- Go to any site with an image that you want to learn more about.
- Touch and hold the image.
- In the context menu, tap Search Image with Google.
Search with your camera or photo from your gallery
- On your iPhone, open Chrome .
- Open a new tab.
- In the search bar, tap Google Lens Shutter .
- To upload an existing image from your device, at the bottom left, select Photo picker .
Search with a QR code or barcode
- On your iPhone, open Chrome .
- Open a new tab.
- In the search bar, tap Google Lens .
- In the highlighted box, position the QR Code or barcode. When it works, a code displays in the address bar.
- Tap the link that pops up on your screen.
