Upload and download photos using iCloud.com
Photos you upload from your computer to iCloud.com are added to iCloud Photos and are visible on all of your devices that have iCloud Photos turned on. You can also download photos to keep them on your device.
Upload photos
You can upload JPEG images from your phone to your personal library and albums, and more file types to your shared albums. See the Apple Support article Shared Album limits.

Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Click Library or an album in the sidebar.
If you don’t see the sidebar, click

Click

Select the photos you want to add from your computer, then click Upload.
Note: If you want to upload photos to your iCloud Shared Photo Library, use the Photos app on a device with iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, or later.
Download photos and videos
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select the photos or videos you want to download, or double-click a single photo or video.
To download them quickly, click
.
Photos and videos are downloaded in the most compatible format for the device you’re currently using.
To choose another download option, click
, click More Download Options, then click
next to any of the following:
Unmodified Originals: Photos and videos are downloaded in the same file format that was originally captured or imported and don’t include any edits.
Highest Resolution: Photos and videos are downloaded at the highest quality available for your device (HEIC or H.265 if available).
Most Compatible: When possible, photos are JPEG and videos are MP4/H.264 to be compatible with various devices.
