A senatorial miter was a type of tall[1] Neimoidian[2] hat with an arrow shaped point at the apex. Senator Lott Dod wore a dark blue senatorial miter proudly to show his position and stature while serving in the Senate of the Galactic Republic.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
A senatorial miter first appeared in the 1999 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[3] It was first identified in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia.[1]
