The Kreetan Narrows was a region of space in the Outer Rim Territories. It included the Periphery, the Boz Pity Salient, and Hutt Space and star systems such as the Honoghr system, the Kessel system, the Sriluur system and the Vaath'kror system.
History[]
Originally, the Kreetan Narrows were controlled by the Hutt Cartel. However, at the end of the Clone Wars, Hutt presence was substantially reduced by the Galactic Empire, but the Kreetan Narrows remained under Hutt control. In the months following the Declaration of a New Order, the surrounding regions were the site of important Separatist activity. After their defeat at the battle of Trasemene, the Separatist retreated to the Kreetan Narrows, but were followed by the Imperial forces who annexed the Kreetan Narrows, which were split and shared between five sectors, the Suolriep, Tharin, Calaron, Kessel and Bheriz sectors.
