Joe Sinnott (October 16, 1926 – June 25, 2020) was an American comic book artist. Born on October 16, 1926 in Saugerties, New York, Sinnott went on to work for Marvel Comics[1] primarily as an inker for several decades, most notably on the original run of the publisher's Fantastic Four series.[2]
For the Star Wars franchise, Sinnott inked the interiors and cover of the third issue of[3] the 1986 comic series[4] Star Wars: Droids, working alongside penciller John Romita Sr. and colorist George Roussos.[3] The issue was published on May 13 of the same year.[5] Sinnott died in Saugerties on June 25, 2020.[1]
