Emily Shkoukani was a casting production assistant on the two-part pilot episode of Star Wars Resistance, "The Recruit,"[6] and they have since become a junior creative executive at Lucasfilm.[4] They are a member of the Lucasfilm Story Group and a contributing writer of features on StarWars.com, including the Star Wars Inside Intel series that began on March 30, 2021.[5] In the first episode of Star Wars: The High Republic Show, they answered fans' questions.[7]
