During the Clone Wars, a massive Separatist fleet blockaded Sluis Van in order to drive off any Republic reinforcements from the planet and its shipyards, particularly during the Battle of Praesitlyn. Later in the war, during the Outer Rim Sieges, Republic troops from Eriadu also besieged the world.
