Role in series[]
"Yeti Krabs"[]
Mr. Krabs tells his employees a tale about a Yeti Krab who eats lazy employees, like Squidward. Mr. Krabs only tells this story to try and make Squidward work, but it ends up actually becoming true.
The real Yeti Krab eventually comes to Bikini Bottom to look for food, and catches the Krusty Krab's scent. As a result, he goes into the restaurant and SpongeBob realizes the monster is real. Conversely, Squidward thinks that the Yeti Krab is just Mr. Krabs in disguise. SpongeBob works in overdrive to avoid getting eaten, and Squidward is fed up with the Yeti Krab.
He arrogantly attacks the Yeti Krab, as Mr. Krabs walks inside of the Krusty Krab and Squidward obliviously states he is trying to take off his mask. After Mr. Krabs points out the obvious, Squidward realizes the creature does exist and panics before he, Mr. Krabs, and SpongeBob are captured.
The Yeti Krab ties the three up and begins to cook them over the grill. However, when SpongeBob realizes he is hungry, he brings out his Emergency Krabby Patties. The Yeti Krab eats them instead of the three captives and pays a happy Mr. Krabs for his food. He frees the three and leaves the Krusty Krab to head back to the mountains.
SpongeBob Freestyle Funnies 2018[]
The Yeti Krab later appears on the front cover, where he is a part of the huge crowd of villains staring angrily at SpongeBob.
"Shopping List"[]
The Yeti Krab appears because his hair is one of the fake secret ingredients of the Krabby Patty. SpongeBob and Sandy carefully pick a hair off of the Yeti Krab while he is sound asleep in his cave. Plankton, realizing this, pulls out a lawn mower and mows over the fur of the Yeti Krab. This wakes the Yeti Krab and makes him take a rolling pin to flatten Plankton. He then folds Plankton up into a paper hat to cover his bald spot.
Later on in the episode, the Yeti Krab appears and threatens to hurt SpongeBob and Sandy after Plankton ambushes them and steals the ingredients. However, in the end, Sandy gives the hair of her tail to the Yeti Krab, and in return, the Yeti Krab takes the two back to the Krusty Krab. When Mr. Krabs reveals the list he gave SpongeBob was fake, Sandy beats him up for causing her to give the Yeti Krab her tail's fur, as well as nearly getting her and SpongeBob killed and having her submarine stolen by Plankton.
