Pat the Hapless is the barbarian counterpart of Patrick Star. He is a recurring character on The Patrick Star Show who first appears in the episode "Bunny the Barbarian."
Description[]
Pat the Hapless has a similar appearance to Patrick Star. However, he has blond hair and stubble. He wears metal gauntlets on his arms and head, and tattered brown pants with a yellow belt.
His personality is shown to be stubborn and aggressive, while being just as stupid as Patrick. Being a barbarian, he has incredible strength. He is also known to star in a comic series and TV show.

"Bunny the Barbarian"[]
When an old man asks Pat if he has what it takes to enter the Dust Demon's realm, Pat misunderstands the question and asks, "Animal or mineral?" The man opens a trapdoor that sends him falling into a pit of fire.
"Mid-Season Finale"[]
Pat the Hapless appears sitting in a waiting room with other versions of Patrick. When the manager calls for Cave Patrick, Pat and the other Patricks get angry. They are all fired and trampled by a crew of ballet-dancing Patricks.
"FitzPatrick"[]
When FitzPatrick is trying to distract Patrick in Near Mint Comic Books, he gives him an issue of Pat the Hapless. In the comic, Pat runs into evil wizard Beelzebass and tries to destroy his castle. Beelzebass transforms Pat into various creatures, including a sea urchin, which collapses the castle.
Later, FitzPatrick is sent to Pat the Hapless' world by the time closet. Pat sits on the ruins of Beelzebass's castle, using his wand as a toothpick. Pat is unamused by Fitz' claim to ruin his life and turns him into a sea urchin.
"A Space Affair to Remember"[]
Pat the Hapless is the first person to crash Patrick and Squidina's party. Patrick eagerly welcomes him, and he brings his barbarian friends over. He then plays "Spin the Bottle" with some other Patricks.
"The Patrick Show Sells Out"[]
Pat the Hapless appears in an episode sponsoring the Chum Bucket. He is searching for food, and comes across a cave restaurant. After he places his order, a giant, monstrous version of Mr. Krabs comes out and grabs him. Plankton rides up on a seahorse and gives Pat a bucket of chum, which he is hesitant to eat due to its bad smell. Plankton forces him to, and once he does, he gets a burst of strength and is able to defeat the monster. He thanks Plankton for the chum, but is interrupted by Mr. Krabs destroying the segment.
"The Starry Awards"[]
A picture of Pat the Hapless appears when Patrick shows the nominees for Best Cutaway Segment. However, he loses to Dr. Plankenstein, SpongeMonster, and Pat-gor.
"The Patrick Show Cashes In"[]
One of the pieces of merchandise the Patrick Show creates is a Pat the Hapless action figure, which comes with its own battle axe.
"Too Many Patricks"[]
Patrick has him attend several kids' birthday parties as an entertainer. Later, he gets knocked out of a boxing ring and is sent back to his time period.
"5 Star Restaurant"[]
He is summoned to the Krusty Krab from the time closet as a customer.
"Chopping Spree"[]
He goes on a barbaric quest to the shopping mall.
