We're not yet starting the game, but this is an important decision.
Because Season 1 (the First Annual Running of the Television, 2023-24 season) was almost a traditional elimination game (EG) instead of having a Survivor theme, that season never had the capability to allow Roleplaying. This season can have Roleplaying as its new original feature, but I don't know if I should add it or drop it.
In the context of the game, this is how roleplaying (RP-ing) can work:
Prior to the start of the game, users will select a character among the pool of 40 polistas (as previously announced here, see link below) to RP as. For the duration of the game until their character's elimination, they can only RP as that character. (e.g. If I selected to RP as Freddy from Duwa, I can only RP as Freddy until he is eliminated at Tribal Council)
If the character is eliminated, the Roleplayer has the option to continue their RP (sending their character to Isla Purgatoryo/Redemption Island and giving them a chance to return) or stop RP-ing altogether.
If the user quits their RP without their character eliminated, their character also "quits" the season and is automatically eliminated. However, should this happen, they can no longer cast a vote at Final Tribal Council (aka they can no longer vote for the season's champion. They can still vote for elimination and immunity)
I have started a poll here to decide whether or not we will have RPing in the game as a new feature. Please proceed here to vote!
The Race for the Gerry Garcia ARTv Championship Trophy begins on December 20, 2024 (Philippine Time, UTC+08:00) here on the ESB forums!
Whose torch/lapis will be snuffed/panas first? Who will survive on Dibuho Island the longest? Who will Outwit, Outplay and Outlast the rest in the first Survivor-styled season of the ARTv? Stay tuned to find out!
I will only ping @Eliternal , @SpongeBob333333 , @PinkPugPrincess , @Bdog7210 and @NicktoonLover for now. Let me know if you want to be pinned for the rest of the game!
I hope you will enjoy the game! Users, I'll see you later.
