One of my favorite childhood-present shows

Litteraly only the golden era was worth watching. after season 5, it just went bad. The only reason i'm still clenching onto the fandom is beacsue i REALLY want the spongeboy ahoy pilot and FULL uncensored version of sailor mouth before i go. it would basically complete the 98% of the golden era released, the 2% unreleased being the SBA pilot and the SM uncensored edition.

Spongebob is the best

1. It's just a show that truly entertains me, its earlier episodes are super iconic, I just love the whole charm of the show too. SpongeBob as a character is amazing too!

2. The show was a huge hit in the early 2000s, and since even ADULTS love the earlier episodes of the series, it caused. While I think the show did take a dip in quality starting season 4/5 to appeal to younger audiences, I still find the show to be pretty funny and consistently good. A lot of people say season 13 is when the show starts to get consistently bad and while I do agree with this, I just hope the show gets better soon.

3. His personality is just pretty much everything, he can be a positive bundle of joy, but sometimes he can be super aggressive or just an emotional little guy. He can relate to basically anyone!

4. SpongeBob, he has such a basic yet amazing design, and I love his personality overall, which I explained in 3.

5. I think the show's peak was during season 3, but I love how later episodes continued to have decent storylines and many episodes that make me laugh!

6. Probably an episode that most people love, episodes like Krusty Krab Training Video, Krusty Towers and Scavenger Pants are among my favs in the series!

I agree, this show is a huge hit in the early 2000s.

I'm sorry SB fans but for me, personal it's a toss-up between Plankton & Squidward.

I believe it or not did not watch this show growing up. I distinctly remember purchasing the [original, from 2005] complete 3rd season and then season 4 vol. 1 etc.

The first three seasons are nostalgia!

1. What do you like so much about the show?

What I love about SpongeBob is that its been around for 25 years and has 14 seasons (Most shows for kids don't last that long) and I love DoodleBob of course.

Why do you think it’s still so popular after 25 years? Because Stephen Hillenburg put so much effort into making the show from when it was just a little 1999 kids cartoon to a 2024 milestone.

What makes SpongeBob a great character?

He's funny, Goofy, and he's always trying to be positive even when times are tough.

Who's your favourite character and why?

DoodleBob because he's Goofy and made Frankendoodle, and Doodle Dimension great episodes.

How has the show evolved over time?

At first it was just going to be a short 3 season and 1 movie show, but now it has evolved into a 14 season and almost 5 movie show.

How would you recommend a new person start when watching the show? I would recommend them to watch the classic episodes first for nostalgic reasons, and then watch a couple modern episodes so they could get a taste of both and see which era they like. And maybe throw in a couple episodes from the Spin Offs too.
