 From an occupational standpoint , it is the sum total of decisions that direct your

unique personality characteristics and basic life values.
Difference between Career and job
 A job is something you do simply to earn money; a career is a
series of connected employment opportunities.
 A job has minimal impact on your future work life, while a career
provides experience and learning to fuel your future.
 A job offers few networking opportunities, but a career is loaded

with them.
 When you work at a job, you should do the minimum without

annoying the boss. When you're in a career, you should go the extra
mile, doing tasks beyond your minimum job description.

 Life partner : However deep you might be in love , when it comes to practical living no one would choose long lasted love over a million
dollars.
 Dreams : The favourite car you always wanted, The country you always wanted to travel, The friends you always wanted to make abroad,
The house you always wanted to buy.
Energy: Money and a mindfull career always invokes postive energy.
 Opinions : Your opinions would not matter to anyone.
Civil Engineer Career
 What They Do: Civil engineers design, build, and supervise infrastructure projects and systems.
 Work Environment: Civil engineers generally work in a variety of locations and conditions. It is common
for them to split their time between working in an office and working outdoors at construction sites so that they can
monitor operations or solve problems onsite. Most work full time.

engineering technology. They typically need a graduate degree and licensure for promotion to senior positions. Although licensure requirements
vary by state, civil engineers usually must be licensed if they provide services directly to the public

 Job Outlook: Employment of civil engineers is projected to grow 6 percent over the next ten years, about as fast
as the average for all occupations. As infrastructure continues to age, civil engineers will be needed to manage projects
