DDT is an insecticide, not herbicide.
[change source]"If we use chemicals (like Agent Orange or DDT) to destroy plants, sometimes human beings may be affected by side-effects."
DDT can not be used effectively to destroy plants, since it is not a herbicide (compound that is poisonous for living plants, usually killing them, as mentioned Agent Orange), but an insecticide (a compound poisonous for the insects). I will change this sentence, replacing the link to DDT with a more valid one (glyphosate is used to destroy illcit coca fields, for example).--84.163.98.50 17:30, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
