Allen Lucas Messer (born February 27, 1969) is an American politician. In 2013, he became the U.S. Representative for Indiana's 6th congressional district. He is a member of the Republican Party. He served in the Indiana House of Representatives from 2003 to 2006, representing the 57th District.
In July 2017, Messer announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate.[1] He lost the primaries to Mike Braun. Messer was replaced in congress by Vice President Mike Pence's brother Greg Pence.
