The Hungarian Coptic Orthodox Church or the Hungarian Diocese of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria (hungarian: Magyarországi Kopt Ortodox Egyház) is an Orthodox Christian denomination in Hungary.

The Coptic Orthodox Church in Hungary began in the second half of the 20th century when Egyptian Coptic Christians moved to Hungary.[1][2]

Structure

[change | change source]

The church's main center is in Budapest, where they meet regular for services and prayers.[3] They follow Coptic traditions, including the seven sacraments, special liturgies, and spiritual life.[4][5]

The Coptic Church works closely with other Eastern Orthodox and Christian communities in Hungary.[6]
