The Filet-O-Fish is a fish sandwich. It is sold by McDonald's. It was introduced in 1962 by Lou Groen, a McDonald's franchise owner in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Filet-O-Fish has a battered fried fish fillet, a half slice of American cheese and tartar sauce on a bun.
