The Dalmatian barbelgudgeon (Aulopyge huegelii) is a cyprinid in the subfamily Barbinae. It is the only member of the monotypic genus Aulopyge.

The generic name comes from the Greek "aulós (αὐλός, "flute") + pygé (πῦγή, "behind, rump"), while the species name is named after Charles von Hügel.[source?]

Aulopyge huegelii looks like a cross between a barbel and a gudgeon, hence its name. It is 20 cm long.
