Colfax County, New Mexico

Colfax County is a county in the U.S. state of New Mexico. As of the 2020 census, the population was 12,387.[1] Its county seat is Raton.[2]

This county was named for Schuyler Colfax (1823-1885), seventeenth Vice President of the United States under U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant.
