Bernard Cribbins, OBE (29 December 1928 – 27 July 2022) was an English actor, voice-over artist and musical comedian.[2] His career spanned over seventy years. Cribbins was known for his role as Wilfred Mott in Doctor Who. He was also known for being the narrator of The Wombles.

Cribbins died on 27 July 2022, aged 93.[3]
