Bi 439 thay established a kinrick which includit the Roman Africae province, besides the islands o Sicily, Corsicae, Sardinie, Maltae an the Balearics. In 455, thay sacked the ceety o Roum. Thair kinrick collapsed in the Vandalic War o 533–4, in which Justinian I managed tae reconquer the Africae province for the Eastren Roman (Byzantine) Empire.
