When those huge vellum letters came out by Junkitz I was a bit sceptical about using them. It was the colours that put me off. I couldn’t see them working with everything.
Here’s a way to use them as a mask on your background cardstock!
Step One:
Lay down your letters by sticking them onto the cardstock. Flat, untextured cardstock works best for this tip.
Step Two:
Paint over the top of the letters as you would with a traditional mask. Allow the paint to dry THOROUGHLY.
Step Three:
Carefully peel off the letters with a blade to lift up the corners and keeping your fingers close to the page.
Step Four:
You can re-use the letters if you want to. Simply embellish the page and use it as a background just like any other page.
Have fun and happy scrapping!
