WE TURN THE CARE WE HAVE FOR EACH OTHER INTO SIMPLE, CREATIVE, AND EFFECTIVE ACTION.
Every day, we train hundreds of people to respond to, intervene in, and heal from harassment. We hold space for people experiencing harassment to share their stories for affirmation and support. And we prepare new leaders to create workplaces, schools, and communities around the world that are filled with humanity.
EXPERIENCING HARASSMENT OR WANT TO SUPPORT THOSE WHO ARE?
Right To Be’s storytelling platform is a safe space where you can share your harassment story, get support, and help others experiencing harassment. Sharing your story on our platform is proven to reduce trauma for you — and it helps others too, by letting them know they are not alone.
CHECK OUT OUR BOOK, WRITTEN BY THE RIGHT TO BE TEAM, FOR YOU.
Order a copy of our first book, I’ve Got Your Back: The Indispensable Guide to Stopping Harassment When You See It by Emily May and Jorge Arteaga. I’ve Got Your Back will take you through the 5Ds of bystander intervention: Distract, Delegate, Document, Delay, and Direct, with each chapter diving deeply into how to put these 5Ds in action — whether you witness harassment in public, online, or at work.
I’ve Got Your Back is an invaluable resource in creating a new vision for our communities — one where we stand up for our neighbors, and our neighbors stand up for us.
OUR TRAINING PROGRAM
We’re a nonprofit working to end harassment — in all its forms. We believe that everyone deserves the resources to respond to, prevent, and intervene in incidences of harassment. We provide both private and free anti-harassment training experiences on over 25 topics.
Private trainings have the option to be customized for your workplace in collaboration with our talented training team.
We believe everyone has the right to be trained to respond to, prevent, and intervene in incidences of harassment, for free. This is made possible thanks to the generosity of our community.
