There are sixty Sounds that can be recorded in Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure. The player can add them to the recorder menu by tapping that sound on the screen. These sounds can also be used to solve puzzles or complete the Master Instrument. Unlike Phantom Notes or Sound Disks, some sounds that are not needed for the Master Instrument are permanently miss-able.
Below, the sounds are arranged in the same order as in the recorder menu. The location(s), first chapter the sound first appears in, and the audio files are included. Sounds found in multiple locations can be recorded from any the ones listed. Use the buttons below to toggle which information to show in the chart.

Trivia[]
- On the recorder menu, Rue des Archives is misspelled as "Rue de Archives" underneath the Rattle sound. The Paris Opéra is also missing its accent in the Doorbell's description.
- The Merry-Go-Round sound uses a brief sample of “Merry Memory Go Round” from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.
- In the international versions, the Lullaby sound has lyrics in both English and French. Meanwhile, in the Japanese version it is hummed.
- The English lullaby is louder than the French lullaby, which has a more softer singing voice.
