Roger Webb was born in Kenya in 1949 and spent his childhood between East Africa and England. In 1972 he graduated in Furniture Design from Leeds Polytechnic, and three years later, he completed a master’s degree at the Royal College of Art in London. For seven years, Webb worked alongside Professor Robert Heritage on projects for Race Furniture, Gordon Russell, Disform (a Spanish company acquired by Santa & Cole in 1994), B&B Italia, and Concord Lighting Limited. During this period, he and Robert Heritage designed emblematic furniture, such as the Subeybaja table (1979), now published by Santa & Cole. He founded Roger Webb Associates in 1989. Based in London and dedicated to industrial design, Roger Webb specializes in furniture and furniture components for an extensive list of international clients.
