About Jo Hammerborg

Jo Hammerborg drew inspiration from the early Functionalists and had a passionate ambition to make original lamp designs accessible to everyone, thereby encouraging modern, simple interior decoration. The award-winning Danish designer will gain a special place in the heart of Warm Nordic next to two other masters in the art of lighting: the Danish designer, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen and the Swedish designer, Hans-Agne Jakobsson.
Now, on the 100th anniversary of his birth, a new Jo Hammerborg line is launched as a tribute to the iconic lighting designer, who has left a significant mark on the lighting in Danish homes with his special approach to design and lighting effect.
