Only though we came here for a day, we really enjoyed Heimany! We had lunch here at Gott, and we enjoyed the walkability to so many other close places. I got the penne pasta, and it was really good for the cold day. All in all it was one of our best meals in Iceland. Kid-friendliness: Gott was very kid-friendly, and even offered kids menus and coloring crayons. Thanks! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A very large restaurant that was 1/3 full on a Thursday in August. Second of two nights on the island and this was the restaurant I enjoyed the least. Ordered drinks and soon after ordered dinner. Drinks arrived and before we had taken perhaps a 1/4 of our drink, dinner arrived. My pappardelle was warm. Mushroom sauce very heavy. Just not great. My wife had the daily fish that was pretty good. It appears to be a restaurant that is set to push out great amounts of food, quickly. I would have preferred to have a drink, followed by dinner with a glass of wine. This was not to be. In comparison, the dinner the prior night was simply amazing. Small restaurant with the visible chef cooking. Truly magical.
