The Gladly

Although the Gladly has a local cult following in the Biltmore area for its Original Chopped Salad, its whiskey menu deserves the same kind of attention. This is not your standard darkened room with heavy wooden features. The Gladly’s light and airy design is welcoming alongside its five pages of whiskey choices. Its Scotch selection is even broken down into regional selections like Islay and Campbeltown, giving drinkers access to bottles not commonly found.

The Grey Hen Rx at Century Grand

A singular drinking experience in Phoenix, Grey Hen Rx is located at Century Grand, a collection of progressive cocktail bars. Grey Hen Rx blends turn-of-the-century apothecary style with New Orleans flavor that produces a menu heavy on bourbons and whiskeys. Offerings include drinks like the In Bristol Fashion, which mixes prohibition-style whiskey with white miso, or Widows & Wives, which combines bourbon with soy sauce. The location boasts an entire, well-lit wall dedicated to bottles, so finding a whiskey, Scotch, or bourbon to enjoy with or without a smoke should be fairly easy.
