Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and Portland area restaurants and bars are preparing their turkeys and celebratory meals for the holiday. The Portland area sits on unceded land of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, and Molalla tribes, among others, and many Portland area restaurants will serve dishes eaten in this area for centuries — things like salmon and native caneberries. This map is dedicated to the best Thanksgiving Day restaurants in neighborhoods all across Portland. Reservations tend to go quickly, so it’s best to make them early.
