Look Inside Smith Teamaker SE Tasting Room and HQ

It's all dialed in, but the new space won’t open its doors to the public until Dec. 2.

It's been a long time coming, but the folks over at Smith Teamaker finally have new digs in Portland's industrial Buckman neighborhood.

We sent over our photographer, Dina Avila, to fetch some shots, and she returned with a bunch that show that the new space is well-lit, thanks to some large roll-up garage doors which let the natural daylight highlight the space's communal table and tasting bar. As you can also see, the 20-seat space also features some ultra-mod chairs, a plush booth, and some floor rugs to help stifle that extra din common to industrial spaces with concrete floors.

The 13,000-square-foot space will allow Smith's teamakers to amp up their annual tea production—when they're not walking and talking you through the tasting notes of your favorite new flavor.
