Anyone who’s familiar with New York knows that we’re suckers for souvenir-inspired merch. (After all, our co-founder Milton Glaser is the one who actually drew the I ♥ NY logo.) And today, we’re launching a new collection with Knickerbocker that draws inspiration from the souvenir kiosks around its flagship store on Canal Street.
The collection features hand-drawn illustrations mixed with our logo, printed on some of Knickerbocker’s signature pieces. There’s the classic pocket T-shirt and the fleece polo, both with our logo on the front. The tote is produced with Steele Canvas in Massachusetts and emblazoned with a hand-drawn yellow cab. You can find that same drawing on a baseball cap with a suede brim, a motel-style keychain, and a Japanese milk-glass mug — all of which would make great gifts for the in-the-know New Yorker in your life.
The collection is available to shop now, at Knickerbocker’s online boutique and in-store at 357 Canal Street.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
