NYC steakhouse Quality Meats — part of the popular Quality Branded restaurant empire — suffered a fire in its basement on Sunday, according to a restaurant spokesperson. No one was injured in the fire, the spokesperson confirmed with Eater.

The FDNY dispatched 25 units and 106 personnel to the site of the restaurant — located at 58 West 57th Street, at Sixth Avenue — around 9:30 a.m. in response to the two-alarm fire on Sunday, according to an FDNY spokesperson. The fire was brought under control just after 6 p.m. on Sunday. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, the spokesperson says.

Quality Branded declined to share any more information about how the fire started or what damage the midtown restaurant sustained.

Quality Meats, known for its extensive menu of high-end meat cuts and seafood dishes, has not yet reopened for business amid the pandemic. Other restaurants within the group, including Italian-American spots Don Angie, Quality Italian, and neighborhood steakhouse Quality Eats on the Upper East Side and in the West Village, have reopened throughout the past month to offer outdoor dining for customers, as well as takeout and delivery.
