Beta v1.6.8.11

EDIT: Please go straight to Beta v1.6.8.12, this one is broken!

The new beta version makes DropboxPortableAHK usable again with the latest Dropbox version (9.4.49) 🙂

It is not possible to run multiple Dropbox instances simultaneously, yet. This includes the regular Dropbox client. To sync multiple instances, you can simply start them one after another and shut them down again when they finished syncing.
This can easily be automated with DropboxPortableAHK’s SyncAndGo feature.

If DropboxPortableAHK makes your life easier, please consider a donation or leave a comment. Any feedback is greatly appreciated 🙂

  1. Hallo Nick,
    danke für das update, aber da stimmt noch was nicht. Beim Start kommt nur ein kleines, leeres Fenster mit einem roten Fehlermeldung-X und einen Beenden-Button.

  2. When I ran the upgrade I got the same error message as described above. A fresh install gives a message for manually extracting DB-files to the config folder. The installer extracted the files to \DropboxPortableAHK_1.6.8.11_beta\.dbfiles\bin\Dropbox\Client\Client\ (one level too deep!).
    After moving the files to the parent Client-folder the installer continued flawlessly!

  3. Tried to update and clean install. Both crashes with a message box showing a red X. My system is Win10 64bit anniversary update. It doesn’t work at all. 🙁

    @All others
    Please report your system, if the bug showing up.

  4. One more comment:
    I don’t have an installed dropbox version on my system (and never had it). My dropbox directory is out of my dropbox portable directory. Hope there will be a fix soon.

  5. I disabled the update for now since it is broken.
    I’ll update a new version, soon.

    Could someone with the error (blank window with just the close button) please send me his debug files (from DropboxPortableAHK\.dbfiles folder) through the support page?

    EDIT: Got it, thanks.
