- First, verify your current student status with GitHub Education.
- Then, sign in and add your student program benefits to your New Relic account:
- Select the Help icon in the top, right corner of your New Relic account
- At the bottom of the window, select New Relic for Students
- Select GitHub Education
- Select Authorize with GitHub and complete the steps

- Student benefits will be added to your account in 5–10 business days

You must have an account with one of our education partners in order to access New Relic for Students. If you are a current college, university, or technical school student, you are eligible to access the student account through GitHub Education.* Through our other partners, you must meet their requirements in order to access New Relic for Students.
*Proof of current student status is required.
