Topgolf Swing Suites open at Tempo

Nashville’s landed its first Topgolf Swing Suites at the Tempo by Hilton in downtown. For the uninitiated, the suites offer up a virtual golf game in which players hit real balls at a screen equipped with sensors — the objective is to land the ball as close to a series of targets as possible. Tempo has two suite available to the public, each of which accommodates a maximum of six guests and features its own private bar with a food and drink menu that includes smoked bacon and pimento cheese sliders, Nashville hot fried calamari, and lamb sausage flatbread by the hotel’s Director of food and Beverage Shannon Williams (previously of Holston House). Cost is $100 per hour Sunday through Wednesday, and $145 per hour Thursdays through Saturday. Reservations are available for guests and locals alike and can be made here.

Ladybird Taco opens a new location in East Nashville

On April 5, Ladybird Taco opened the doors to its East Nashville location — the third for the fast-casual operation. Owned by Nashville music industry vet Gabe Scott and longtime friends Andrew Wiseheart and Ben Edgerton, the East Nashville location will serve the breakfast tacos, chips, queso, and Crema lattes the 12 South location is known for, but also Rosemary Cider from local outfit Brightwood Craft Cider (with margaritas on the horizon). The shop is open daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The scoop shop — with several locations in Davidson and Williamson counties — is giving away a free pair of eclipse glasses with any purchase of a scoop or pint. And today only, you can add the new fizzy Space Dust topping to any order of scooped ice cream for free.
