Corner Pub in The Nations Is Coming in Early 2017

The neighborhood bar will be housed in a former church

The Nations is getting another laid back watering hole, as local sports bar Corner Pub is slated to open in a former church property early next year.

Located at 1105 51st Avenue North and called, appropriately, Corner Pub in The Nations, The Nashville Post reports that building owner Jeff Estepp will co-own the business with Jeremy Palmer, the owner of the original Corner Pub in Green Hills, and Chad Clifton, a former University of Tennessee and Green Bay Packers offensive lineman.

The approximately 3,000-square-foot bar will seat 170 to 200 and will include the addition of an 800-square-foot deck.

While Palmer is involved in these two locations, Jeff Rippy separately owns a handful of other Corner Pub outposts locally, including in Brentwood, Franklin and Mt. Juliet. His 10-year-old Midtown spot closed just this past May.
