'Upscale Dive' The Centennial Coming to The Nations

The former home of Centennial Bar and Grill in The Nations is getting new life, as a trio of owners plan to open The Centennial, an 'upscale dive' bar, in the space.

Located at 5115 Centennial Blvd. just off of 51st Avenue North, Scott Walls, Justin Canfield and Grant Cauley hope to open the new 2,250 square foot neighborhood watering hole by the beginning of November. Walls tells Eater that they will offer "food, booze and beer," with eight taps, mostly focused on local brew, and a small menu featuring starters, a few salads and a selection of sandwiches. Current plans are to be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
