Since 1997, the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) promotes the welfare and well-being of the four million Filipinos and Filipino Americans throughout the United States. As a non-partisan and non-profit organization, NaFFAA is the largest national affiliation of Filipino American institutions, umbrella organizations, and individuals. Its fifteen-member regions cover the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands.

News from NaFFAA Southern Region

Saturday, August 26th, 2023 – The Bayshore Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel Downtown Tampa was the place to be for the Miss Filipino-American of Florida 2023 Pageant. Guests started arriving as early as five in the afternoon. Glittering beauty queens with their crowns and sashes added to the elegant ambiance during the cocktail hour. Cameras flashing as the beautiful ladies of the FASC greet the guests. This annual charity event, attended by more than two hundred guests, was organized by the Filipino-American Social Club of Tampa (FASC). The pageant aims to raise funds for different charities that FASC supports in the Tampa Bay area and back home in the Philippines. FASC supports FEED America, Gawad Kalinga, Children’s International Philippines, Friends Who Care, and Hospital On Wheels.

To continue to uphold the vision of mission of the organization each year, NaFFAA convenes State and Regional Leadership, Executive Board Members and National Trustees to focus on strategy and implementation of its leadership development, advocacy, civic engagement, and cultural education initiatives.
Capacity building sharing sessions, professional development exercises, and team building programming is at the center of the 3-day summit.
NaFFAA firmly believes its leadership is its differentiator. We prioritize the investment into our infrastructure!
