Happy Holidays Art Friends! I've made my annual Peppermint Almond Bark, but this time I didn't use "almond bark." I used premium white chocolate chips instead. I also added a little drizzle of dark chocolate on top!

I've been working on a few things lately...
Started that soldering iron again! I've been practicing on my "shadowbox" technique after taking Sally Jean's class. I used vintage flowers between the glass.
More flowers!! Put these together for some teacher friends. I put a clip and a bar pin behind them.
A sweet little Tussy Mussy, ready to fill!

Silver Bella 2010!!
Just got back from Silver Bella and I even saw SNOW! A Texas girl likes that kind of thing...
I loved my second Silver Bella experience!! My classes were amazing. It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones from all over the country. I even bumped into new Texas Bellas...and that's always nice!
Here are a few pics...
Here's my friend Jennifer from Texas! She's an elementary school teacher like me. She's a doll!
My New York bud, Meleen! She always makes me smile. I loved visiting with her cutie pie daughter Caroline too! HUGS!
I took Lisa Kaus' Joy Within class. I learned how to use watercolor pain crayons and of course now, I'm hooked!
Another fab class was the Teacup Fairy class by Beth Quinn. I loved the fairy I made!
Friends at work! Here's Suzanne, Karla, and my roomie Lori!
Vendor Night was a dressed up Hat Parade! Here I am with fellow Texas Sweetie Heather.
Amy and I have the same curly do. She's so sweet!! Check out her online magazine on her blog!!
My newest buddy Heather is dressed to the nines...she and I hit it off immediately!
Beautiful Table! CakeTini party!! FUN!
LORI and I working on a project together. Loved having her as my roomie!
Here are two new Texas Bella Girls, Cassie and Susan. They are the sweetest!!
Party Night! Darlings Danielle and Lori taking a minute to relax!
Loved seeing Jessi again this year! She was my roomie last year. She's so cute!
I was honored to make Suz' soldered necklace for the Upscaled Treasures Swap. The soldered pictures are of her mom, her daugher, and her at 16.
My new friends Nora and Sheila! Nora made my darling charm bracelet and Sheila made my one-of-a-kind Bella Tote and the Upscaled Treasures necklace. Love you girls!
I FINALLY got to meet and create with the one and only Sally Jean Alexander! Her classes were challenging and fun. I plan on practicing her techniques a lot! Here is one piece I made in her class. It's of my grandmother when she was young.
My sweet roomie and I did a private swap. These are the goodies she gave me...including the brown travel case!! Love ya Lori!
